Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using The Lookout ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Service. We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

2. Description of Service

The Lookout is a fashion price tracking, budget management, and wardrobe organisation platform. We monitor publicly available product pages on supported retailers and notify you of price changes. We do not sell products, process transactions with retailers, or guarantee the accuracy or availability of any product or price.

3. Accounts

You must provide a valid email address and password to create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity under your account. You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service.

4. Subscriptions and Payments

The Service offers a free tier and a paid Pro subscription. Pro subscriptions are billed monthly via Stripe. You may cancel at any time through the Settings page or Stripe Customer Portal. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Refunds are not provided for partial months.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to: (a) use the Service for any unlawful purpose; (b) attempt to access other users' data; (c) interfere with or disrupt the Service; (d) reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code; (e) use automated tools to scrape or collect data from the Service; (f) resell or redistribute the Service without permission.

6. Intellectual Property

All content, branding, design, and code of The Lookout are owned by us and protected by copyright and trademark laws. Product names, images, and prices displayed in the Service belong to their respective retailers. You retain ownership of any data you provide (e.g., closet items, outfit names).

7. Price Data Accuracy

We make reasonable efforts to provide accurate price information, but we do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of any price data. Prices are sourced from publicly available retailer pages and may differ from in-store or in-app prices. Always verify the final price on the retailer's website before making a purchase.

8. Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, arising from your use of the Service.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at our sole discretion if you violate these Terms. You may delete your account at any time by contacting us. Upon termination, your data will be deleted within 30 days.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Spain and the European Union. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Madrid, Spain. Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer under EU law.
